Confessions Of A Limo Driver

“The high speed chase”

120 miles an hour.

Pedal to the metal.

He’s all in now. Looking for an escape.

Trying to keep his composure but every second his heart feels like it’s gonna jump out of his chest.

Traffic jam up ahead. He’s gotta get to the far right across four lanes to the exit.

Boom!

He barely made it. Barely.

He takes the exit doing 60 and starts weaving through a residential area.

With police gaining on him he soon realizes he has a better chance on the highway.

“Am I going to be able to make it?”

He punches the gas and makes a bold move. Back on the interstate. His only chance.

He quickly pushes the stretch limo to 150 miles an hour. Dangerous but what other option does he have now?

By now the State Trooper isn’t real close behind, about a quarter of a mile. Within eyesight. He’s losing him.

So he thinks.

Little does he know the Trooper just doesn’t want to endanger anyone so he’s keeping a safe distance.

All of a sudden from no where…

SMOKE!

Clouds of thick smoke and an awful burning smell coming from the engine. Like a mixture of burnt oil and plastic.

It’s the transmission. Almost gone. It can’t take the stress from the heavy weight of the car and such insane speeds.

It’s just about over you would think.

But he’s stubborn and he’s not giving up that easily. Even though he can’t even remember why he didn’t pull over in the first place.

“Oh yeah suspended license” he thinks to himself. “What an idiot I am.”

The car is coming to a stop. He’s flooring the gas pedal but the car isn’t going anywhere. The transmission is completely gone.

All of a sudden he slams the car in reverse and makes his way backwards down the entrance ramp.

He’s going in reverse. He makes it off the highway and now his options are limited. Finally he loses control and backs into a tree.

The Trooper leaps out of the car, draws his gun and pulls the crazy chauffeur driver out of the limo and slams him to the ground.
